About Surgical Outcome Risk Tool (SORT)
SORTv2 uses the procedure and its severity, ASA-PS, urgency, cancer and age, and can combine the result with the clinician's own estimate. It was derived from over 19,000 patients in the NCEPOD Knowing the Risk study and externally validated in 2020.
